The Festival is a benefit event in aid of Saartjie Baartman Center for abused Women and Children in Athlone, Cape Town.
The Fringe Program includes workshops by International teachers, performances of local and international dancers of all levels a Bazaar and much more! The 3rd International Oriental Dance Festival 2008 was a great experience and exposition for all who was involved in it: dancers, sponsors, audience, stall holders… It was visited approximately by 15 000 people.
